Plot:
Kazariya Mohammad, a young man admitted in the government medical college in Kozhikode for tests. He suffers from symptoms he got from an unknown virus. He dies in a few hours in hospital. That makes doctors curious regarding his situation. Doctor Geetha, who is studying his CT scan, starts to see symptoms and proves to be affected. When other doctors try to study her blood pressure, they don’t understand it as the machine shows that her blood pressure is increasing and decreasing fastly. There is no way to understand it without knowing the virus. The nurse Akhila, who worked on the shift to take care of Kazariya, also got affected. Dr. Salim goes to Kazariya’s house to know more about what happened to him. There he sees symptoms of poisoning along with japanese encephalitis with some infections on his father. He tells doctor Suresh to start a test of Nipah virus on them. Doctor Suresh collects samples from his sister, Suhana and as he tests it, Salim statements will be proved. It is nipah virus and there is no cure for it. Nurse Akhila’s situation starts to go wild as she suffers severe symptoms from the virus, writes a letter to her husband and dies. This is a real incident that happened on that day. Health minister Prameela starts a camp inviting all the medical practitioners and professionals or whoever is ready to volunteer, to get rid of the virus and stabilize the crisis. Eventually, the Health minister announced that the city is free from nipah virus and builds trust among the people. The film ends with a picture of a bat breed flying fox, taken by Zakariya to upload on his social media. This states that it could be possible that he got affected by that bat.
